Season 5 of Fortnite has brought many new and unique features. In particular, there is a whole new system of the quest. Each of the Fortnite quests contains challenges and their challenger has a timer on them. You have to complete these challenges on time.
After completion of this quest, you get a reward of XP. Among the different challenges, one of the challenges that the player has to complete is to deploy the scanners near the retail row. This challenge is quite different and difficult from the previous one.
Many players got stuck due to the new location and map. They don’t know where to find the scanner and where to deploy them. Then the first thing they should do is to go through the map and find their location. And after finding their location search for the location they have to go.
This will make the task easy to perform. There are 3 scanners located at a different location in the game. These scanners are relatively difficult to locate. But you don’t need to worry about them because you have a map with you to locate the location.
How to find Scanners and deploy them?
The main task is to deploy to the scanner in the retail row. To deploy the scanner you will see the holographic image of the scanner you have to interact with the outline of the scanner. After you will interact the button will appear with the deploy instructions.
As there are three scanners you will find them at different locations.
- The first scanner is located on the north side near the houses you will be able to find it easily.
- The second scanner is located on the southeast side of the map.
- The third scanner can be found near the bus stop close to the basketball court.
After completing your challenge you will get the reward of 1000 XP.
